Perplexity Enterprise
Perplexity launched an enterprise tier this week, centered on team knowledge base integration and permission management. Companies can connect internal documents to AI search, so employees’ questions are answered from the company’s own knowledge base, with data staying inside the corporate VPC.
Pricing is per-seat, with entry pricing notably higher than the personal Pro plan. The target customers are clear: knowledge-intensive industries like finance, consulting, and legal.
Google AI Mode Opens to Everyone
Google’s AI Mode (AI search mode) became available to all users this week, previously limited to subscribers. AI Mode generates comprehensive answers directly on the search results page, complete with source cards.
Impact on site owners:
- Being cited by AI matters more than ranking — citable structured content (data, tables, clear opinions) gets more visibility
- Click-through rates on traditional “ten blue links” keep declining, and the content quality bar is rising
Our Take
AI search is moving from “novelty feature” to “default experience.” For content creators, being cited by AI (GEO) matters as much as ranking. This is what we’ve always emphasized: writing clearly, specifically, and verifiably beats keyword stuffing.
We’ve started tracking how our content gets cited in AI search results and will share real data soon.
